Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre is situated on the main A666 between Bolton and Manchester and on two major bus routes (No 8 and No 22) with ample room for parking (see contact details page), and a more protected space inside the complex for trailers.
Riders can take advantage of both indoor and outdoor riding arenas. The 20 x 40 indoor arena is fully covered and lit so lessons can be taught throughout the whole year – regardless of the weather.
The outdoor school, recently enlarged to cover 60 x 40 for extra teaching and to accommodate a more advanced jumping course, is also floodlit . Our cross country course is currently being reconstructed.
The main reception area houses vending machines dispensing hot and cold drinks and snacks and we also have a small tack shop on site.
Modern classroom facilities for the Horse Care Studies qualifications at Ryders Farm ensure the right atmosphere for teaching and learning with Pendleton Sixth Form College's course
As well as being a BHS approved riding centre Ryders Farm is also an approved livery yard with accommodation and grazing for 25 horses on full or part livery (prices are available on application please ring 0161 794 0058).
Our most valued resource at the centre is our team. Our instructors, yard staff, reception and admin are all dedicated to ensure that your experience at Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre – whether owner, visitor, student, parent, rider , horse or pony - is one which you enjoy and treasure. As every rider knows riding is a complex, magical, mysterious, exhilarating, frustrating and fantastically rewarding experience and our aim is to lead you through all these feelings to be able to dance in partnership with the most wonderful of animals.
